Got Peanuts? Can you imagine an animal whose weight in measured in tons, instead of pounds, being playful? I was astounded by the grace, agility and playfulness of this beautiful Asian elephant during a visit to the San Diego Zoo. Her friends had just delivered some new toys and she was busy playing "pachyderm soccer" with a giant red ball when I knew hers was an image I wanted to share through my painting. © 2005 Patty Jacobs
